I'm Ready for Work Tomorrow

Good thing for Stanley Steemer. I get real relaxed on the stains that go on my carpet because I know that I'll get them cleaned eventually. Today I was holding Elliot on my hip with one hand around his stomach. I had just fed him and I think that I must of turned to quickly and everything I fed him just came out all over my hall upstairs. I tried to get all the green beans and such up, but there's still a stain. I was hoping that the next time I called Stanley Steemer that I could just have them do the downstairs. I figured that since Wyatt stopped peeing on the floor the upstairs doesn't get that bad.

And speaking of Wyatt, today he knocked on the TV and asked, "Is somebody in there?" He also told me today that all the houses in my neighborhood were stuck together and we need to cut them in half. He showed me this by putting his hands together and them pulling them apart. He proceeded to tell that the house next to us was stuck to us and we need to cut it half. If you haven't gathered it by now I live in a townhouse. (A quite lovely one at that, too!) I also heard Wyatt when I was upstairs earlier today say, "Yikes! Mom is coming." I wasn't coming but then of course I had to see what he was doing. As I started walking down the stairs Wyatt says,"No, Mom! Don't come!" All he was doing was throwing a book on the couch and then diving after it. I don't get it.

When I went to get my mail this evening I noticed that the stick that was sticking out of the ground that I tripped on had been removed and there was a hole there. I do know that when I tripped yesterday there was an HOA maintenance man there that happened to see it. I never gave him eye contact because I was embarrassed. So, then is it possible that someone in the HOA actually did their job? Every time I need something from the HOA it takes someone like a month to call me back. Well, at least I know I paid someone $40 this month to pull a stick out of the ground.

Molly, Wyatt is such a funny kid! He cracks me up! I can't believe you have to pay $40 a month for your HOA!!!! That is horrible. You pay that much and your house is still stuck to your neighbors! When are they going to fix that?
