Lightning McMom

I was on the phone with my mom today during a thunderstorm. I could tell by her voice that she was starting to get nervous. She said she had to go kind of frantically. I said, "Mom, the lightning is not going to come through your phone." Keep in mind we are both talking on cell phones. She was like "are you sure" a bunch of times, and I was like "yeah" a bunch of times. Then she was like "I know the lightning isn't going to come through, but it's still making me nervous. I got to go."

The lightning is going to knock on the door, wait for your dad to answer, go past him down the hall, take a right and then a quick right, look around, pass up the phone on the end table and go into the antenna of your mom's cell and THEN come out through the ear piece and fry her!
It could happen.
Why does that not surprise me?
