Baby Brother or Baby Sister?

I asked Wyatt if he would like a baby brother or a baby sister. He said, "Another one?" I said yes. He said,"Elliot needs a friend?" I said yes. I asked him again if he would like a baby brother or a baby sister. He said,"A brother." I asked him what should we name the baby. He said, "Walk. That one crawls *points at Elliot*. We need one that walks" *moves his fingers in a walking motion*.

Sensual Dad

Free Image Hosting

When Jeff and I were in the hospital giving birth to Elliot there was a big photograph in the hallway of a naked chested man with a naked baby. We decided to relive that moment with our own dad and baby. This is a very sweet picture, right?

This one is for all my Boys

Well, I wanted to be like my sister Terry so I made a video for my blog. It's like hers but a lot more time crammed into one movie.

Tercels Run or Don't Run in the Family

I went to work today. I drove Jeff's car because he took mine to get it inspected. As I was driving home from work today it started to rain. That is when I learned that Jeff's windshield wipers don't work. I had to pull over on the I-95 until the rain stopped. The dog was hot and kept panting and drooling on me. Jeff informed me that he just keeps driving. He says if you drive fast enough then the rain rolls off the windshield better. That's probably why they were never fixed, and why he didn't bother to tell me. I think that when it rains Jeff also takes his seat belt off, talks on his cell phone and chugs a beer (root beer). At first I thought I was being shallow by not wanting to drive his car, like I was too good for it. Now I know that I am.

I'm Ready for Work Tomorrow

Good thing for Stanley Steemer. I get real relaxed on the stains that go on my carpet because I know that I'll get them cleaned eventually. Today I was holding Elliot on my hip with one hand around his stomach. I had just fed him and I think that I must of turned to quickly and everything I fed him just came out all over my hall upstairs. I tried to get all the green beans and such up, but there's still a stain. I was hoping that the next time I called Stanley Steemer that I could just have them do the downstairs. I figured that since Wyatt stopped peeing on the floor the upstairs doesn't get that bad.

And speaking of Wyatt, today he knocked on the TV and asked, "Is somebody in there?" He also told me today that all the houses in my neighborhood were stuck together and we need to cut them in half. He showed me this by putting his hands together and them pulling them apart. He proceeded to tell that the house next to us was stuck to us and we need to cut it half. If you haven't gathered it by now I live in a townhouse. (A quite lovely one at that, too!) I also heard Wyatt when I was upstairs earlier today say, "Yikes! Mom is coming." I wasn't coming but then of course I had to see what he was doing. As I started walking down the stairs Wyatt says,"No, Mom! Don't come!" All he was doing was throwing a book on the couch and then diving after it. I don't get it.

When I went to get my mail this evening I noticed that the stick that was sticking out of the ground that I tripped on had been removed and there was a hole there. I do know that when I tripped yesterday there was an HOA maintenance man there that happened to see it. I never gave him eye contact because I was embarrassed. So, then is it possible that someone in the HOA actually did their job? Every time I need something from the HOA it takes someone like a month to call me back. Well, at least I know I paid someone $40 this month to pull a stick out of the ground.

On the first day Molly created a Blog

Well, I decided that everyone should know about my life and read about all the cute things my kids do. But first I will talk about my interesting day. It started off this morning telling Jeff that I wanted to make a long drug out blog about growing my hair out and then cutting it off and donating it to locks of love. I realize that it will take about five years to get along enough, so I thought that since my hair was so thick that in the mean time I will just cut out samples and send them to cancer patients as a free sample.

After that Wyatt carried around his Curious George clock all morning waiting for the hand to reach the six. That's when I told him it was time to go to the park for his last day of preschool. That went well, and was kind of fun. I think that maybe even Elliot enjoyed it, too. And I do believe that he was the cutest baby there. I did, however, pass Tammy in the neighborhood this morning, too. She gave me a big smile as our cars tightly squeezed passed each other. I smiled back. It was weird and awkward.

Next was Grammy's house. Nothing exciting there, but it's an easy way to get Wyatt away from the park. Tell him it's time for Grammy's house. I stayed a little while and then went home. Got some naps in. Realized I needed more baby food and batteries, then off to Target. A man flags me down in his car to tell me that my inspection was dead. Then my X husband calls to tell me that he sent child support and say sorry about my Grandfathers death!!! This is news to me. His mom read it in the obits in SLC. My mom is a survivor. I call my mom and she's like who told you, as if someone's big mouth spilled the beans. Why is this a secret and why did I found out from my X husband shopping through Target? Not a big deal. I'm not getting into it. All I'm going to say is that my mom and dad have communication issues.

Moving right along I got $5 off on my diapers, and a good sale on the baby food today. Even my batteries were on sale. On the way home I stopped to get my mail. I tripped over a stick with my flipflops on and stubbed my toe. It hurt pretty bad, and looked gross too. It sliced some skin off. Then I go home, bring Elliot inside while I go get groceries. When I came back in Elliot had crawled over to the door and was about fall on his face onto the doormat. I pulled him back in with my hands full and he cried. I put everything down, gave him a bath, and put him to bed with successfully. Well, there you have it. My first blog entry. Hopefully, I'll do this again.
